After releasing on other platforms earlier this year, Minit is making its way to the Switch. Find out when it will release, and what you can expect from it.

Minit was one of the better pocket-sized surprises to emerge out of the indie scene this year. Soon, you’ll be able to play it on the go, as the game is launching on Nintendo Switch next week. Specifically, you can get your hands on it on August 9th, which is next Thursday.

Publisher Devolver Digital hasn’t released a Switch trailer for the game, but you can check out the game’s original trailer below:

Here’s the eShop description, which can easily be read in under a minute:

Minit is a peculiar little adventure played sixty seconds at a time. Journey outside the comfort of your home to help unusual folk, uncover countless secrets, and overcome dangerous foes, all in hopes of lifting a rather unfortunate curse that ends each day after just one minute. Minit is a collaboration between Kitty Calis, Jan Willem Nijman, Jukio Kallio & Dominik Johann.

There’s no pre-order available for the game on eShop, but you’ll find the game here.

The game originally released on 3rd April this year. It has a “Strong” rating of 80 over at OpenCritic, as aggregated from 34 scored reviews. It also bears an “E for Everyone” rating from ESRB.

Do check out our previous coverage of the game for more info. We can’t promise you’ll be able to read the entire post in a minute, but you can certainly try!

Minit is presently available on PC, Mac, Linux, PS4 and Xbox One. Check out the official website here.

Minit takes from Zelda, to be sure. But you know what else takes from Zelda? Songbringer! You might also be interested in The Swords of Ditto, which comes from Minit’s publisher Devolver Digital.
