Night in the Woods is getting a complete version soon, and it’s free for those who already own the game. A Switch version is also being strongly hinted at.
Night in the Woods: Weird Autumn Edition is the complete version of Night in the Woods, which released earlier this year on PC, Mac, Linux and PS4. The Weird Autumn Edition will be available on 13th December for all those platforms, but will also add Xbox One to the list of supported consoles. The developers are also strongly hinting at a Switch version of the game with the following tweet:

Everyone who already owns the game will get a free update to the Weird Autumn Edition, so you don’t have to worry about buying the game again if you already own it.
As for what’s included in this version of the game, there’s additional gameplay segments and music added to the game as well as pre-release bonus content Longest Night and Lost Constellations.
Night in the Woods is an adventure game that focuses on college dropout Mae Borowski as she returns to her hometown of Possum Springs. Back to the small town, Mae must come to terms with how the place (and her friends) have changed. Mental illness and quarter-life crisis collide as Mae explores her hometown anew and gets into all kind of adventures. The game holds a solid 86 score from critics on OpenCritic, and a score of 88 on MetaCritic for the PC version. Players on Steam have given it a solid Very Positive rating.
