Sinner: Sacrifice for Redemption won’t be releasing this month after all. The game has been pushed to Q3 2018, and now it’ll be out on Switch as well.
We reported late last year that Sinner: Sacrifice for Redemption will be releasing in April 2018. That fated month has arrived, but the game won’t be showing up anytime soon. That’s because it has been delayed into the third quarter of 2018. Assuming it doesn’t get delayed further, you can expect it somewhere in the months of July, August or September this year.
Although no specific reason has been given for the game’s delay, we do know that the list of release platforms has grown by one. Apart from PC, Mac, PS4 and Xbox One, the game will now also release on the Nintendo Switch.

Rise from the depths a crumbling kingdom and to the challenge of defeating increasingly difficult demonic bosses. Choose aspects of yourself to weaken before defeating the avatars of Sin in the action-RPG Sinner: Sacrifice for Redemption. Inspired by classic boss-battlers and modern skill-based action RPGs, with a dash of gothic anime styling and horror storytelling, Sinner promises a thrilling and bone-chilling experience.
Sinner: Sacrifice for Redemption is a straight-up boss battler, and it interestingly features a ‘level-down’ mechanic. The game gets harder with each boss as you are forced to sacrifice an attribute of yourself after every success. The ‘debuff’ that you thus gain will stick with you throughout the rest of the game. The better you do in this game, the weaker your character will get.
