In survival management game Symmetry, your crew is trapped on an alien planet, and you need to make sure they survive and return to Earth. Will you make it?

In Symmetry, your spaceship has crashed onto an abandoned planet, and your crew is trapped. Facing dangerous weather and diminishing resources, the crew must work together to fix the ship and return home. Time is of the essence, however, and even the smallest of mistakes can prove to be truly fatal.

According to publisher IMGN.Pro, Symmetry has been confirmed for a February launch. It will release on 20th February for PC, Mac, PS4 and Xbox One. The PC and Mac versions of the game will be priced at 11.99USD, 9.99 EUR or 8.99 GBP. The console versions will be a touch more expensive, coming in at $17.99 USD, 14.99 EUR or 12.99 GBP.

IMGN.Pro has also released a new trailer for the game. Check it out below.

Your crew members in Symmetry will have different skills and stories in every playthrough of the game, making the game highly replayable. In order to help them survive, you need to take care of their nutrition, physical state and mental health. Crew members also pick up new skills in the struggle to survive. Of course, when the going gets tough, you might just have to sacrifice morality and consider chomping down on dead crew members.

As you race against time to scavenge spaceship parts, you find that there might be more dangers lurking on the planet than just the frigid environment. The game’s descriptions stress that it has a more involved story than what appears at first glance.

Symmetry is supposed to have an official site here, but it doesn’t seem to be working at the moment. Here’s the Steam page instead.

Surviving hostile environments is tough. If you would like to go it alone, check out The Long Dark. If you wish to be responsible for an entire city, have a look at Frostpunk.
