Gamescom 2015 had achieved a record result when its doors closed on 9 August. In total, 345,000 visitors from 96 countries attended the world’s largest event for computer and video games from 5 to 9 August 2015. Under this year’s motto, the Next Level of Entertainment, more gaming fans than ever before celebrated the world of digital games in Cologne and profited from an improved quality of stay thanks to the expanded floor space and a more efficient visitor flow management.

In 2004, the folks at Penny Arcade decided they wanted a show exclusively for gaming. Sure, comics, anime, and other nerd hobbies were cool, and those activities all had their own shows… so what about games? From that idea spawned a small 4,500 person event in Bellevue, Washington, focused on the culture and community that is gaming.

Since then, the show hasn’t looked back. Doubling in size each year until venue capacities were reached, in 2010 the show expanded into Boston for PAX East, drawing tens of thousands of attendees in the inaugural year. The shows in Seattle and Boston represent the two largest gaming events in North America!

Tokyo Game Show 15 – 20 September 2016 in Makuhari Messe in Tokyo, Japan

Tokyo Game Show is the global trade show where a large number of key people in the game market gather from every corner of the world. We had 202 exhibitors from 31 countries and regions. 1,293 press people from 33 countries and regions covered the event. Tokyo Game Show has attracted international attention as the world largest scale GAME event.
On top of it Tokyo Game Show has been recognized as the international business meeting opportunity on Business Day with 12.8 % increase of 1,555 oversea visitors for two days.
