Aragami: Shadow Edition announced, coming to Xbox One as well
Aragami: Shadow Edition will include the base game along with the upcoming ‘Nightfall’ expansion. It’s coming to PC, Mac, Linux, PS4 and now, even Xbox One.
Developer Lince Works has announced that its stealth title Aragami will soon get a special ‘Shadow Edition’ that includes both the base game and the upcoming ‘Nightfall’ expansion. The original Aragami released on PC, Mac, Linux and PS4, and the Shadow Edition will make its way to all these platforms. Apart from these, the Shadow Edition will come to Xbox One as well.
The Shadow Edition will be digital-only, and it will release alongside Nightfall. Pricing is currently set at $24.99, 24,99€, or £19.99. No release date has been announced yet, but the trailer below assures us that will be coming soon.
Wot’s the game about then, you ask?
Aragami is a third person stealth game that casts you as an undead assassin with the power to control the shadows. Teleport to any shadow, become invisible, materialize weapons or even summon a shadow dragon to infiltrate the enemy ranks and dispose of your targets.
The game takes inspiration from stealth games both old (Tenchu, Metal Gear Solid) and new (Mark of the Ninja, Dishonored). For more information, check out our previous post on the game.
Then there’s the upcoming expansion, Nightfall. Here’s what to expect:
Aragami Nightfall is a 4-chapter prequel that takes place right before the events of the base game and fills in the some key narrative points left open in the original game. 2 new playable characters, all new deadly shadow powers, and an expanded storyline that can all be played in single player or cross-platform online co-op are all coming soon.
